Chance Frazier
As an infant Chance was diagnosed with severe to profound sensorineural hearing loss. Chance had surgery on both sides at 9months old and was welcomed to the world of sound with an cochlear implant. Chance has recieved several early intervention therapies, and was enrolled in public school's special education classes at the age of 2.
After research on "Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech" Chance mom recieved military orders in the Jacksonville, FL area to have Chance become a student at the school. Chance is currently in his 1st year as a student at Clarke in the Pre-K class, where his teachers and Speech therapist are directly responsible for his improvement in speech and becoming more confident and sociable. The cost per student is over 35K per year. With funding from the school district and other supporters it allow each student to attend tuition free. Chance school does an annual fundraiser known as the "Kiddie Dash" fundraiser to help with funding. Our family is asking for a donation in any amount to help kids like Chance have a better option to learn to listen and speak from professionals who specialize in working with kids like him.
Thank you!!!
