THE COOLEST FAMILY-EVENT IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA
Join Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech and Kilwins Jacksonville for the Annual Ice Cream Run 5K and One-Mile Walk on Saturday, March 23, 2024. The fundraising event offers participants a timed 5K race or a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at the St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida. At the finish line, our participants are rewarded with all-you-can-eat Kilwins Original Recipe Ice Cream. Before the run, enjoy a lively sponsor and vendor activity area. There’s no other event in NE Florida where you can get all-you-can-eat Kilwins Original Recipe ice cream at the finish line! The run raises funds and awareness for Clarke Florida, who has been in the Jacksonville community since 1996 offering children, who are deaf or hard of hearing, programs and services for their academic and social success.
Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech teach children who are deaf or hard of hearing to listen and talk. Children served by Clarke use advanced technologies, including cochlear implants and hearing aids, to maximize their access to sound. Clarke children listen in the classroom, run and laugh with their friends on the playground and have lives filled with music, sports, family and community. Your participation ensures that Clarke continues to offer life-changing services to our students.
Clarke School for Hearing and Speech Florida, Inc. (DBA Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. As an IRS qualified charity, gifts to Clarke are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
